Unfazed, Troy pivoted and started raising capital. Three years into wholesaling, he secured his first major financial backing: a $1 million line of credit from a bank. This capital allowed him to purchase residential notes, setting the foundation for Pinnacle Investments.
As private money players were scarce back then, Troy focused on institutional capital. Over the years, the landscape has evolved, with firms like Quest making private money more accessible.
